The Proosdij of Meerssen was an institution that exercised governance and jurisdiction over the properties of the proosdijkerk of Meerssen from the Middle Ages until the end of the ancien régime. The Proosdij of Meerssen is also the name for the building where, alongside the official residence of the provost of Meerssen, the governance and jurisdiction over the proosdij were located. Some outbuildings of the proosdij building have been preserved.
