AzureThe hilly surroundings of Voerendaal offer beautiful views that you can enjoy during this walk. In Voerendaal you can still walk around in Roman gardens, taste Roman wine and continue your way along an ancient Roman route. Right through the current Voerendaal, the Romans built a large road, the Via Belgica. In the vicinity of this, they built the largest villa that has been found in our country, they cleared fields for large-scale grain cultivation and left beautiful finds. The finds and villas of Voerendaal are worth exploring.
Parking is possible at the Schoolstraat in Klimmen.
