Elen er en landsby i den belgiske provins Limburg og en delkommune af Dilsen-Stokkem. Landsbyen havde i 2008 over 2300 indbyggere og var tidligere kun vokset gradvist. Elen ligger i den østlige del af provinsen, tæt på den hollandske grænse og floden Maas. Landsbyen bliver første gang nævnt i året 1150 som Hellini, derefter i 1179 som Jelne, i 1229 som Heelne og senere som Eelen og Elen. Hellini kan være afledt af Halina, som betyder 'hårdt tørt jord', eller fra Aljo.
