Torgny is the southernmost Belgian village, 574 ha and more than 200 inhabitants. It basks in the sun at the extreme south of the province of Luxembourg, which penetrates France like a peninsula. It is now a district of Rouvroy. The center of the village of Torgny is a true procession of buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries. No recent building disturbs the harmony. You will find about fifty buildings, dated between 1741 and 1882, a neoclassical laundry, ancient walls, a modest church dedicated to Saint Martin, and in some places a beautiful display of roofs, as in Torgny a number of roofs still have round and Roman tiles. In the region, there are a few vineyards and a curious nature reserve (an old quarry) with very rare plants and animals for our country.
