Café Den Haas was founded in 1871 and is the oldest that still works in the region. On the menu are regional beers such as gueuze and kriek and if you want to eat a 'shelf' you are also at the right place.
There is a unique earthen 'bollebaan' where the centuries-old flatball game is still practiced daily. It is also the starting point of several hiking and mountain bike trails.

It is not without reason that there is a label 'bicycle-friendly' on their window or front door. This means that they make a special effort to meet the needs of the bicycle tourist.
