Along the Kempen canals

Numerous are the cyclists who enjoy riding along the canals. And in Limburg, you have plenty of options for that. One of the advantages of the Limburgian canals is that they are often lined with rows of trees, providing cyclists with protection from excessive heat and potential rain. Here and there, you will find a bench.
You may also encounter a fisherman who wants to strike up a conversation. The bunkers along the canals remind us of our wartime past, specifically of the time when we had to protect ourselves against the advancing fascism from Germany.
