Vespa Club Tessenderlo

Club ride: VC Tessenderlo on visit - The Dommel ride Neerpelt - July 14, 2024 - departure 10 am.

Ok Black & White was our first appointment to a weekly routine. The costs were again wow thanks to the sunshine that was already from the party. We left with the group for a ride without breaks of about 40 km until we arrived at VC Neerpelt where we could register for the Dommel ride 2024. The ride was again very carefully put together by the ride master for this occasion and created a good atmosphere in the group.

Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and immediately posed for photos while driving onto the location.

After registering and having a drink, we started the Dommel ride, what immediately struck us was that this Dommel ride already had a lot in store right from the start. About 14 km after departure, we were invited to have our Vespa photographed at a beautiful location.

After a quick lineup, we could ride further and continue the ride. From Kaulille, we were treated to very nice and cool roads that led us through beautiful views via Reppel to the Zandgroeve Winters, along the outer ring road of Peer and the Nature Reserve Ortolaan. We passed Klein Brogel briefly and from there we rode again to OC Vranken where we made a stop for a break. The smell of the burgers tempted many of us.

After filling our bellies with this delicacy and quenching our thirst with something refreshing, we gathered again and set out on the Vespa for part 2!

Now we ride to the other side and head towards Sint-Huibrechts-Lille, Hamont-Achel back through Neerpelt, Overpelt to the finish line of the Dommel ride.

After another chat and some refreshments, we started part 2 of this ride that certainly did not fall short compared to the beautifully organized Dommel ride.

With regret yet a good feeling, we are already looking forward to the next ride ;-)
