This motor route of just under 93 kilometers starts and ends in Monstreux and offers a varied mix of rural tranquility, historical heritage, and pleasant curves. You ride through the green heart of Walloon Brabant and a piece of Namur, passing small villages, old abbeys, castles, and delightful landscapes along the way.
The route takes you past places such as the St. Gertrude's Church in Nivelles, the castle of Corroy-le-Château, and the battlefield of Ligny — the site of Napoleon's last victory. You pass quiet country roads, open plateaus, and valleys with views of fields, streams, and forests. There are plenty of places to stop along the way: a village square with a terrace, a hidden chapel, or just a beautiful view.
Ideal for a relaxing day trip with time to get off and look around occasionally.
For motorcyclists who prefer to ride authentically rather than spectacularly.
