A storm has caused great damage in the area, many trees have fallen and been uprooted, making the hiking path more difficult. Sometimes you have to deviate up to fifteen meters from the path to avoid an obstacle. In any case, you should take a GPS device with you, as signs on trees or posts are sometimes not visible or easy to find. After 2.5 km, we took the meadow, as the destruction on the path was worst there. It took us 4 hours to get there, but the adventure was all the greater.

Hike 3 from Adventurous Hikes in the Belgian Ardennes, 4 blocks

Parking is easy at 'Place Roger Bodart', which is 100 meters before the church.
Beautiful route with steep descents and steep climbs.
Expect a hiking time of 3h30 for 12 km.
We were lucky to see three deer after about 3 km on the route, on a meadow that the route runs along. Along the Maas, there are benches for a picnic.
