Castles and farms in the Pays de Namur

In the heart of Naams Haspengouw, this tour winds through an area characterized by typical Haspengouw farms and castles with a prestigious past.

Haspengouw is more than fields that reach the horizon and this beautiful tour close to the city of Namur proves it. From the beginning, the route offers surprising discoveries, such as the vineyards along our trail. They now produce red and white wines, with labels such as 'Côtes de Sambre et Meuse'...

A little further, we pass castle farms of character like that of Villers-lez-Heest, a classic set of the 18th century with a forecourt and surrounded by a French park. The itinerary does not involve major difficulties and allows us to discover a region full of character.

When we walk through the municipality of La Bruyère, we are surprised by the diversity of the environment and heritage. On the ridges, the fields of sugar beet and wheat extend to infinity. Shortly after a road through fields, the last castle farm of this trip appears.
