In the midst of the corona crisis (07-2020), it is rather risky to travel far and wide. Then discover your own country. For this walk we went to the, for us, far south, 29 km from home. Scherpenheuvel has always been an attraction for us. With its beautiful basilica, it is a place where many people like to go to pray or just relax with Mary. The stalls also give the visitor a holiday feeling.

With a little imagination and good weather one imagines oneself on a holiday trip in France. One actually passes a real vineyard that reinforces the image. The gentle slopes, with beautiful views, make this hike completely holiday-worthy.

This is a junction walk, the last part of KP-ten 137-244 we could not do because of works. Because this part goes along the 'Rosary Road' and past the basilica and is still quite beautiful, we have not adjusted the route.
