This is another walk that combines everything. Walk along a beautiful fast river, scenic spots, walk on railway bridges, through forests, meadows and beautiful viewpoints. You won't be bored for a moment!

Nice spacious parking is always a good start. The walk starts along the right bank of the Lesse and soon we walk to the bottom of the Furfooz Park. We don't come to the park itself because it's paid. We pass in front of a nice wooden chalet (Buvette La Flobette) where we can drink a cup of coffee. We continue walking along the Lesse to a railway bridge that will take us to the other side of the Lesse. We pass in front of beautiful houses to a beautiful "beach" on the Lesse with high rocks. Later we will pass again on this walk to the top of these rocks. By a second railway bridge, we cross the Lesse again and follow a walk through a wooded area. When we see the railway line again, we pass underneath and start the climb out of the valley. The ascent will eventually be rewarded with a beautiful view. The bench is a wonderful place to rest. We continue our way to Furfooz along the meadows.

Furfooz is a small village of about 150 inhabitants. Furfooz is best known for the prehistoric discoveries made in the many caves (including a skull cap, lower jaw, ulna, and Neanderthal hand bone).

After Furfooz a short stretch along the meadows then disappear again into a wooded area for the descent until the end of this walk. When we hear the rattling of the water, we are almost back down.
