Michel Pollentier - long route 62 km

We take a flying start at Michel's parental home in Keiem and ride towards the butter city of Diksmuide. We first cross the Handzame valley and the beautiful city center and arrive at the IJzer and the Museum by the IJzer. We continue through the polders of Bachten-de-Kupe. Nice country roads take us to the lovely Sint-Jacobskapelle. On the Oude Zeedijk, we go straight ahead, heading towards the North Sea via Lampernisse, Zoutenaaie, Avekapelle, and Wulpen. We cycle through Oostduinkerke and Nieuwpoort, where we pass by the Kaai and the Albert I monument. In Sint-Joris (Ramskapellestraat 13a), you can briefly deviate from the route to discover Michel's tire center, now run by his son Dimitri. We continue the ride along the banks of the IJzer to the Schoorbakkebug. Via Schore, we reach the polders around Leke. The Moerestraat and the Wittepoortstraat bring us to the endpoint in the center of Keiem.
