The walk starts in Loyers and goes to Dinant and Chateau Crèvecoeur in Bovignies.

It descends initially and follows the Fonds de Leffe and then rises again from the valley to the Citadel of Dinant with a beautiful panoramic view. A steep descent takes us to the city of the inventor of the saxophone Adolf Sax.

We walk through the city and cross the colorful Pont Charles de Gaulle decorated with saxophones to reach Bouvignes via the other side. The chateau de Crèvecoeur rises high above the Meuse.

We return and cross the Maas again over the lock complex. A little further is the Abbey of Leffe.

It now rises continuously and through the quarry we reach the starting point again.
