Christinendorf Village Church

The Protestant village church of Christinendorf is a hall church built in 1754 in Christinendorf, a district of the town of Trebbin in the Teltow-Fläming district of Brandenburg. It belongs to the Evangelical Church District of Zossen-Fläming.
According to the information from the town of Trebbin, a fortified church was established in Christinendorf in the 14th century, but no remains of it are still present. It is recorded that Johann Frank was the first pastor to serve in the parish after the Reformation in 1540, thus there must have been a structure present at that time. In 1754, the church congregation constructed the existing sacred building with baroque forms in the 21st century. In 1877, Wilhelm Remler from Berlin installed an organ. In the 1950s, the church congregation had the second floor of the horseshoe balcony dismantled and shortened the remaining balcony on the north side. The pulpit was moved to the north side of the chancel wall, so that since then the altar stands in the apse in front of a stained glass window. From 2000 to 2005, the church was renovated, particularly rectifying the previously tilted tower. The church also includes the listed parsonage, inaugurated in 1928.
