The Zellergraben, also called Zeller Graben, is a stream about three kilometers long on the edge of the Spessart Nature Park in the Lower Franconian district of Main-Spessart, which flows from the southeast on the left into the Main.
The Zellergraben originates on the Franconian Plateau near Steinfeld-Waldzell from several source streams. The longest and intermittent source branch rises at an elevation of about 297 m above sea level in the southern Feldflur Oberer Krautgarten located west of the local main road. It initially flows about a hundred meters to the north and is briefly reinforced by a source branch coming from the southeast just before reaching the southwestern edge of Waldzell. The Zellgraben now flows northwest through the southeastern tip of Waldzell and then stretches along to the Gertraudenweg at the western edge of the village. There, it bends at a right angle to the northeast, runs about a hundred meters south of the Gertraudenweg through the village, and then bends again at a right angle to the northwest. It is joined on its right side by a second source branch. The Zellgraben now crosses the Gertraudenweg and leaves Waldzell after about one hundred sixty meters. Sixty meters downstream, it passes under the Lohrer Straße and is then strengthened shortly after by another source branch. Soon after, it is also joined from the right by a source stream that flows year-round. The stream then crosses the Lohrer Straße again and flows westward south of the district road MSP 22 through the area Untere Wiesen. At a sewage treatment plant, it leaves the open area and now flows through deciduous forest. After about four hundred meters, its most important tributary, the Gertraudengraben, coming from the south, reaches it on its left side. The Zellergraben now flows, accompanied by the MSP 22, northwest through a very narrow wooded valley, then passes the boundary of the district from Steinfeld to Lohr am Main, subsequently passes under the MSP 23, and finally flows on the left into the Main coming from the north at an elevation of about 150 m above sea level south of Lohr am Main-Pflochsbach in the area Am Zeller Graben.
