Reuthen

Reuthen is a district of the municipality of Felixsee in the Spree-Neiße district in Brandenburg. The locality was incorporated on October 26, 2003, and was previously an independent municipality. Reuthen belongs to the Döbern-Land office.

Reuthen is located in Lower Lusatia, about ten kilometers in a straight line to the east-northeast of Spremberg and twelve kilometers northwest of Weißwasser. The area of the locality borders to the north with Bohsdorf, to the northeast with Friedrichshain, to the east with Wolfshain, to the southeast with the Saxon municipality of Groß Düben, to the south with Lieskau, to the southwest with Schönheide, to the west with Bloischdorf, and to the northwest with Klein Loitz. In addition to the eponymous village, the district of Reuthen also includes the residential area of Horlitza at the border with Saxony.
