The national Achterhoek promotes itself as 'the most beautiful region of the Netherlands'. We wanted to test that bold statement against reality. For an introduction, we followed part of the Silo Art Tour, a route along artistically painted silos and barns. Under a shining sun, we hopped on the retro-inspired Triumph Scrambler 1200 X and the BMW R 12, to cruise in style through this oasis of peace and greenery.
