AzureWelcome to beautiful South Limburg and especially to the municipality of Vaals. This route starts from the mountain village of Vijlen and leads towards the Vijlenerbos and in particular the Boscafe het Hijgend Hert.
The route is more than worth it. You have a beautiful view over the South Limburg hills. The five-star landscape will surprise you. The Vijlenerbos is known for its unique hiking opportunities. There are plenty of restaurants in the area for a nice cup of coffee. There are also plenty of parking facilities in Vijlen (pastorijweg) or in the Vijlenerbos (Epenerbaan).
