This route is marked as having few curves, features good, quiet roads, you pass the Maas several times and cross the Maas twice (once by ferry). Moreover, you cycle a lot through nature, especially in the northern part, as the route runs for a long time through the Maasduinen National Park.

The route takes you through Neerkant, Helenaveen, and Evertsoord towards Kronenberg. You pass through the rose-growing village of Lottum, where you cycle along the Maas to Broekhuizen. There, you take the ferry towards Arcen. Then you delve into the estate De Hamert via a cycle path and cycle for a long time through the northern part of the Maasduinen National Park. Near Nieuw-Bergen is the furthest point, and you turn towards the Maas into the village of Aijen. You cross the Maas over the Julianabridge via Well. After that, you go to the "Wout Poels" village of Blitterswijck and then through the beautiful area between Blitterswijck and Veulen. Along the nature reserve Paardekop and over Liessel, you finally return to Heusden.
