AzureWelcome to beautiful South Limburg and especially to the municipality of Eijsden-Margraten. The village of Eijsden has a rich history dating back to at least the Middle Ages. Eijsden's geographical location, its inhabitants, and time together have led to the beautiful picture that Eijsden is today. This walk leads you past the most culturally remarkable places in this town where the Meuse enters the Netherlands.
As an extra walk you can also walk from Eijsden to the Spanish fort Navagne. This part of the route is not indicated on the map, but it is indicated in the downloadable PDF for this route.
