Maasroute From Fèr-Biesbosch-Altena

In 2020, everything is different. Day motor rides are hardly possible. That is exactly why I have created a number of short rides of 2 to 3 hours that can be done as half-day rides. This is Tour ride 3.

National Park De Biesbosch is largely inaccessible, especially not for motor vehicles on wheels. However, the Noordwaardpolder is accessible and this is still a somewhat undervalued piece of nature. The polder is becoming more appreciated and will undoubtedly one day be part of the Biesbosch. With this route, you will see most of this beautiful polder.

A beautiful half-day route that starts in Dordrecht. The first short section necessarily goes along the highway. The route largely follows polder roads via Raamdonksveer to the Noordwaard Polder in the Biesbosch. Then we go through the Land van Altena to the Brabantian Waspik, and just south of Raamdonksveer we will take a detour to enjoy the beautiful nature around Kromgat. Via Gat van Den Ham, we arrive in Lage Zwaluwe. The last short stretch back to Dordrecht is also necessarily along the highway.
This route has many curves and beautiful nature. Enjoy it.

Note: When transferring the route to the Tomtom navigation, you will be sent back at the end of the Bandijk to then have to take a road that is only accessible for destination traffic. The correct route is at the end of the Bandijk (this is just before the Evides location De Petrusplaat) turn left onto Hilweg, and then follow Lijnoorden to ultimately arrive at Noordwaardweg, then continue the route again.
