Kievitspad

From the village of Meije along the Meije River, the starting point is from the parking lot by the village school behind the café De Halve Maan next to the church. We then go over the Hazekade via the Dwarsweg to the Middenweg through the polder landscape to enjoy the many birds that stay here. Halfway along the Randweg with its beautiful farms, the route goes over the Kievitspad through the marshy grassland. The frog choir certainly welcomes you, and you can enjoy the vast and magnificent landscape here. The end of the path is the Oude Meije in the nature reserve 'de Waaier,' which takes you to the "Werkschuur de Kievit" of Natuurmonumenten. Now you continue along the road, the Meije, until you reach "de Halve Maan" next to the village church where the parking lot by the school is located, which is the starting point.
