Six pollarded lime trees as screen planting

Six linden trees stand as screen planting near a farmhouse across the street. The Dutch linden trees are pollarded and are located on a small bank between the street and a house meadow. In elevated areas, buildings were protected from the weather and wind with trees and rows of trees. Lindens were used for this purpose because they have a very dense canopy and could also be used as a source of firewood, construction wood, utility wood, and foliage feed.
