Trieste-Grado - (passing through the Karst - at the top of Sistiana, then above the Lisert)

Trieste Grado passing through the Karst to avoid the busiest stretch of road between Sistiana and Monfalcone on which the FVG2 goes instead.
Route: Rive di Trieste, then Porto Vecchio and Ciclabile di Barcola. Once you reach Grignano, just before the cantoniera house, go up via Livia and reach via del Pucino (a road with little traffic with a lot of greenery). Follow Via del Pucino and then take Via della Salvia (dirt road but quite easy and wide) until you reach the Aurisina sheds area. From Aurisina you get to Sistiana along the road. From Sistiana you go towards Ceroglie but, at the height of the Adventure Park, you enter the woods going up towards Casa Coisce (small paved road for a stretch, then it becomes dirt but wide). In the woods at Casa Coisce you start the descent and go towards Medeazza. From Medeazza continue keeping above the Lisert, cross the Vallone road and descend along a path of a few meters (the only most difficult stretch, which allows you to avoid having to go on the road with cars) and you reach the lower road near a glass bell. You cross the street and enter a small street between a small group of house. Continue on the road (it becomes a dirt road but wide and well passable) and then walk along the highway. At the height of the Rocca di Monfalcone you climb along the path (dirt road, but wide and well passable) and then descend and enter Monfalcone crossing a small railway bridge just ahead of the station. From Monfalcone to Grado the route has a lot of cycle path and substantially follows the FVG2 cycle path. In Monfalcone take the cycle path and go towards Grado passing through Via dei Bagni, then along the Brancolo canal and curve towards the reserve of the Isola della Cona. Cross the bridge over the Isonzo (I recommend bringing the bike by hand walking on the sidewalk so as not to have to cross the highway) and immediately after the bridge you take the cycle path in a white road that descends parallel to the river and then you cross Terranova and you arrive at the Isonzato canal, here you cross the bridge on the special cycle path and then you go towards Fossalon. After crossing Fossalon you head towards Grado and from the Primero bridge onwards the cycle path is all paved.
