With this particularly diverse hiking route, you will visit eight locations in ’s-Graveland. You will pass all the highlights of the area, including centuries-old country houses, magnificent avenues, winding paths, and pond facilities. In short: an ultimate forest walk combining culture and nature!

The ’s-Graveland Buitenplaatsen are located at the transition from the wet Vechtplassen area to the barren sandy plains of the Utrecht Hill Ridge. Wealthy Amsterdammers were granted permission in the first half of the 17th century to cultivate the barren land here. Life suited the Amsterdammers here so well that they settled permanently in magnificent villas and created beautiful gardens and parks.
