For your information: In autumn/winter time, crossing the Semois can be a problem due to the current and depth, and there is no bridge as an alternative to avoid this. (Reaction of a hiker)

A route from the site 'Originele Wanderungen', 4 blocks difficult (updated version 2018). Great elevation differences over steep paths, 5 calf-biters and just as many descents. Wading through the Semois once, a nice extra. Very good trail description, which indicates even the most difficult paths well. After each ascent, a beautiful viewpoint with, among others: Jambon de la Semois, La Cheminée, La table des Fées, Roche la Dame, and La Cuve. Plan a walking time of 7 hours (without picnic). Parking is easily possible about 400 meters along the route, where there is a picnic parking area, at the beginning of the N914 road Au Moulin.

For your information: There is no alternative (read = bridge) to wade through the Semois. At certain times of the year, the current may be too strong to cross it. Our rating is 5 blocks.
