A good starting point of the track is the De Ham car park in Oudenaarde.
The track is mainly about quiet roads in (somewhat) good condition and is not about paved roads.

After leaving Oudenaarde, the first kilometers pass on the asphalt cycle path above the old railway between Oudenaarde and Berchem (and thus literally ignore the Koppenberg). Then come the following climbs in the Flemish Ardennes, following the track counterclockwise:

Rotelenberg
Stooktestraat
Kluisberg
Trieu Coast (Knokteberg)
Riekestraat/Hotond
Ten banks
Muziekboss Street
Fortune Mountain

The route then heads to the Pays des Collines where you get the following climbs for the wheels:
Hurdumont (the route can be shortened by 10 km by pedaling to the top instead of turning right following the route, skip the climbs of Plachettes and Trimpont).

Trimpont
La Houppe, Hoppeberg, in the Hoppeberg département

And then the route returns to the Flemish Ardennes with the climbs of:

Kanakkendries
Goose Mountain
Boigneberg
Kouterberg
Ladeuze

After all the violence of climbing, it is wonderful to relax on the beautiful market square of Oudenaarde!
