Easy hike and great as a starter for a hiking holiday in this valley. 

Route

From the center of Arolla, we descend along the main route untill the first hair U turn of the road where we go straight ahead along the parking lot. We follow the asphalt road untill a junction to the left that follows the asphalt road and later merges with the road again just before the bridge over the Borgne d'Arolla. We go left and cross the bridge in the direction of Cabane de la Tsa. At the next junction we go left again towards the Cabane de la Tsa. The trail is easy and well marked and gets you to the cabane. From the cabane you'll get a realy great view over Arolla and its surrounding mountains. After enjoying the view, the route back will be a bit different and a bit more challenging. With the cabane on your left, go straight ahead and past the cabine, you'll find red paint markings that will guide you through a rocky section. After the rocky part, the path quickly descents towards the valley. Keep descending untill you'll reach a path along the Borgne d'Arolla where we go left (right is in the direction of Pramousse). The trail folows the river and ascends a bit further up the hill towards the suspension bridge over the river. We go over this neat bridge and a bit further we turn left through the small houses of La Monta. At the next junction go right on a trail that goes to the main valley road, cross it and take the path on the other side that ascends up towards the Arolla village. Keep ascending to reach the center of the village and the completion of the hike.
