Ulrich Chapel

The Ulrich Chapel in Ulrichsbruch near Östringen in the district of Karlsruhe in northern Baden-Württemberg was a medieval chapel dedicated to Saint Ulrich. The chapel has been in ruins at least since the 18th century.
The chapel was sold in 1337 by Eberhard von Ramberg for half the tithe to citizens of Sinsheim. In 1414, Ulrich von Flehingen and Adelheid von Beimingen sold tithing rights to St. Ulrich to the cathedral chapter of Speyer. In 1431, the cathedral chapter also acquired the remaining shares of the tithe. In 1617, the cathedral chapter transferred the obligation for the structural maintenance of the chapel to the citizen Baur. In 1663, the cathedral chapter provided compensation for the renovation of the chapel. In 1738, the cathedral chapter rejected the reconstruction of the chapel.
