Short circular hike around Bad Suderode (stamp stations 186 + 185)

Description

From the tourist information office, walk through Schwedderbergstraße to the spa park. Passing by Behringer Fountain, initially follow the signs of hiking trail 44 J (green square) towards Friedrichsbrunn. The path will take you past the rock garden, the restaurant Felsenkeller, Lessinghöhle, a water wheel, and a reservoir. Behind the reservoir, the path forks. From here, follow the signs towards Anhaltinischer Salstein (steep ascent). At the first fork, turn right (small trail mark R4 on a tree stump!). The path now becomes very narrow and very steep. The strenuous climb is rewarded with a great view from the viewpoint Felskanzel. From there, its just a few meters to stamp station No. 186 - Anhaltinischer Salstein. From there, follow trail 44 G (red cross) towards Spinne (shelter). Just before reaching Spinne, turn left onto Heckenrosenweg. Follow this path towards Löffel, Grenzweg, Preußenturm (red cross). Stamp station No. 185 is located at Preußenturm. The tower offers a beautiful view of Bad Suderode and the Harz region. From here, follow the signs to the spa park Bad Suderode.
