Street Art 2023 - A shortened version of the most beautiful graffiti artworks in Boulogne-sur-Mer

Parking e.g. Q-Park St Louis (easily accessible and in the middle of the artworks).

This walk combines a number of artworks from the Street Art Festival in Boulogne-sur-Mer. 
This shortened version significantly reduces the elevation gain and is therefore more accessible for those who may have some difficulty with it.
It remains important that we maintain the detour to Rue de Lille in Boulogne-sur-Mer. La Cave de Mr. Guy remains a place to definitely visit (do check the opening hours!)

The artworks are gems of extremely high quality, and new artworks are still being added. When we did the walk on August 4, 2023, there were still artists working at two locations.
More information can be found on the website streetart.boulogne-sur-mer.fr or you can pick up a wonderful free brochure at the Office du Tourisme (30, Rue de la Lampe). This brochure contains the 5 routes as well as sections on all the artworks. It is handy to keep this brochure or the online version on hand to follow the numbering of the artworks.

You will see that after the first 6 artworks of Route 3, I deviate briefly into the beautiful walled old town of Boulogne-sur-Mer towards Rue de Lille and its surroundings. This area offers a huge variety of nice cafés, restaurants of all sorts, etc. I can certainly recommend the Cave de Mr. Guy (a cozy café with, among other things, beers from their own brews and snacks), as well as the adjacent restaurant La Grange de Mr. Guy, where you can enjoy their delicious dishes among the brewing kettles. Reservations are recommended, but don’t worry. The street is full of delightful establishments. This walled old town is more than worth a visit on its own!
