Navigation advice route 2: Doode Bemde (RED)
This route is only suitable for experienced paddlers. A C1 certificate, or
equivalent experience is recommended.
» The Agency for Nature and Forest may impose a
temporary ban on navigating this zone for nature conservation reasons. This will be
clearly communicated on-site.
» Avoid disturbing bank zones and water plants. Outside of the entry and
exit points, disembarking is prohibited.
» Side streams of the Dijle (including the IJse) are prohibited for
descents.
» Beware of (fallen) trees.
» Groups consist of a maximum of 6 people. Always stay in a group.
» Only canoeing and kayaking are allowed.
» Organizations may not organize descents on a structural or
regular basis.
» It is prohibited to navigate half an hour after sunset until sunrise.
Consider the paddling time to the next exit point and leave the
water in good time.
