Vespa Club Tessenderlo

Club ride: May 21, 2023 - departure at 11 AM.

Today 26 degrees, lots of sun and a little wind. We depart under guidance with about 36 Vespas, including some duo riders, heading towards Velm. A few road captains and members from the core group couldn't join us today as they participated in the Giro 500km Vespistica. But the well-oiled machine of the club was in top shape today. The ride master Theo and his road captains earned their merits today. The ride was a masterpiece with beautiful views, locations, and perfectly arranged stops.

1st stop at 52km: Café De Smis

Super cool café owner with a fully capable team behind him. The service was top-notch and correct, plus super smooth! Next to the café, there was a large parking area that was certainly suitable for all the Vespas to park.

2nd stop at 108km: Bicycle café De Grens

This stop did not fall short of the first one that our Theo had arranged. Super friendly staff and very helpful. As a bike café, it was quite different for the café owner who spontaneously started filming and photographing the Vespas.

Ride combined with the beautiful weather, a lovely day that is worth repeating.
