Vespa Club Tessenderlo

Club day August 27, 2023 - Guided ride: 30 Km 

Welcome to Wesp-a-Looi, the annual club day of Vespa Club Tessenderlo.

This year it was held for the first time at the Fish Market of Tessenderlo, where you were welcomed in the square with plenty of drinks and food options to quench your thirst and hunger. You could enjoy various delicacies and a nice chat among Vespa enthusiasts from different clubs and ordinary people from the street. Naturally, curious people also come every year to have a look and enjoy the atmosphere. Our future Vespa enthusiasts were not neglected, and there was also necessary entertainment provided. Like a mega large bouncy castle themed around dolphins, and a well-known character was wandering around among the public, guess who it was? In the foyer, many vintage Vespas were displayed so that everyone could admire these beauties. As a highlight, a member brought his half-finished project for display. An interesting experience to admire a Vespa that is completely taken apart. After a registration of €5 and a small gift, you could have a nice photo taken on your Vespa at departure. Now, you had to choose which route you wanted to ride first as there were 2 provided, one of 30 kilometers and 60 kilometers. Of course, you could ride both back-to-back.

Hopefully, the participants enjoyed it as much as the organization did with its 60 helping hands!

We look forward to seeing everyone again next year, but not at a new edition of Wesp-a-Looi, but at the Belgium Vespa Days 2024, which will take place at the same location.

Did you know: every half hour, our members rode the route to check if the arrows were still correctly mounted? This was to prevent vandalism and ensure that participants could enjoy a perfect ride.
