Eurode hike 3 Broichbachtal Route short version

The Broichbachtal is one of the gems in this region when it comes to recreation. The area has many lakes and in between are easily accessible hiking trails. At the end of the route you will approach one of the oldest plane trees in Europe. To see it you have to walk into a small road that is 'temporarily' closed due to an inaccessible bridge over the stream.

The route description with interesting facts along the way can be found in the brochure '11 walks in Eurode'. This brochure, enriched with many beautiful photos, is available at the VVV in HuB Kerkrade (Theaterplein 30).

See for the long version

An enjoyable walk.
