Vlotho - enjoy sports on the edge of the Weser Uplands (day tour HF1)

This circular route offers a varied ride for athletic connoisseurs through the diverse landscape on the edge of the Weser Uplands. The established cultural landscape around Vlotho always offers new perspectives on the hilly landscape with its numerous historical half-timbered houses, pastures, fields, and stream valleys. Many spots along the route invite you to linger, to enjoy the view and gather strength for the next ups and downs. If you want to explore the old town of Vlotho or the Bonstapel nature trail at a leisurely pace, or if you want to take the time to visit the Exter motorway church or take a walk through the spa park, the tour should be planned as a day trip.
The route mainly leads over lightly traveled roads, independent bike paths, and paved farm roads, some of which are closed to through traffic. This makes the circular route suitable for families with children as well.
An alternative starting point is the parking lot at the motorway church in Vlotho-Exter. The church is signposted from the motorway exit "Vlotho-Exter".
