Under et besøg i Esneux må man ikke gå glip af kvarteret Vieux Thier: fra centrum fører 155 trin opad! Dette sted stammer fra det 16. århundrede og forbinder Esneux-nedre med Le Mont. Facaden på husnummer 8 er værd at beundre: en niche med en jomfru statue og teksten « obstine peChVr prie la Mère DU saVVeUr », med andre ord: datoen 1677 er synlig. Når man er kommet op, kan man slappe af på Place Jean d’Ardenne og opdage silhuetten af Slot Le Fy!
