TransFrance 2019

A bicycle tour starting in Moorsel (Tervuren, Belgium) and ending in Las Illas on the French-Spanish border in the Pyrenees. There are 18 stages to cover a total lenght of about 1550 km. In total 20000 m are to be climbed. The route is avoiding big towns and busy roads, rather it offers the opportunity to fully experience the beauty of rural South Belgium and France. Every stage starts and ends at a hotel or bed & breakfast, hence enables to spend the night in a good bed. On most stages there is the possibility to buy food and drinks. However, shops, restaurants and cafés are fairly rare over the complete length of the tour. So, be sure to get what you need when there is an opportunity to do so.
