The Castle of Horst is located in the green valley of the Wingebeek, between the hills of the Hageland in Sint Pieters-Rode

The castle of Horst is a castle in Sint-Pieters-Rode. The castle is well preserved and still has the traditional moat.
Castle festivals are held every year, during which knights' games are put in scÞne. In October 2007, the castle domain was purchased by the Flemish Government.

The castle has a very large pond annex moat, on which you can row. Outside the moat there is also a coach house, which was restored in the 90s of the 20th century and converted into a tavern. All this is located in the middle of a forest.

The Vlooyberg Tower is a watchtower and tourist attraction in the Flemish Brabant municipality of Tielt-Winge. It is located on the Vlooyberg, with its eighty meters one of the highest witness hills in the Hageland, so that on clear days there is a view up to the cooling towers of Vilvoorde and the shaft of the coal mine of Beringen.
