Part of the Meuse Cycle Route. This stage brings you over the island of Dordrecht, through the Dutch part of the De Biesbosch National Park - a unique freshwater tidal region. Leave the island via the Kil Tunnel and then cycle over the dykes through the Hoeksche Waard National Landscape. A ferry takes you to the other side, where you can follow the loop of the Old Maas River. Pass the Heerjans Dam, Barendrecht and the willow trees of Rhoon, then continue via the Benelux Tunnel to the other side of the New Maas, arriving in Vlaardingen.
