Tour de Profondeville left bank

The starting point of this route is at the foothills of the Hulle, followed by a long, steady ascent that leads you to the heights of the village and gives you the opportunity to enjoy the panoramic view of the Hulle, the village, and the Frênes rocks.

You pass the lookout point at Couleuvrine overlooking the Meuse valley, upstream from Profondeville, before undertaking a technical descent towards Rivière. Afterwards, you ascend the valley of Burnot up to the college of the same name, before making a beautiful climb through the forest to the plateau of Bois-de-Villers.

A short stop during the descent to Fond de Vau, before you ascend back to Lesve, passing near the castle of Lesve, and then diving back down into the valley of Burnot, past La Forge and Basse Besinne.

The route leaves the valley and climbs up to the Gerlain farm before descending towards Annevoie, offering a beautiful view of the castle known for its magnificent gardens.

We turn away from the castle to tackle the pass of Marli and cross the eponymous forest towards another stunning viewpoint: the 7 Meusen. Take your time to admire the landscape from the paragliding launch area before continuing to the Meuse, whose banks you will follow until the church of Profondeville.
