Burg (Spreewald) History Tour/Trasa historyczna

The approximately five-kilometre tour gives visitors insights into the Spreewald town of Burg with its fascinating history and legends. The path leads through the Spa Gardens and Saga Park at the centre of the dispersed settlement, past the Protestant church and the local history parlour. Along the way, the old and the new are closely interwoven. At the Spreewaldhafen, walkers can observe the hustle and bustle of the punts and the rafters.
Length: 5 kilometres, duration approximately 1.5 hours
Start/finish: Burg (Spreewald), tourist information at the Haus des Gastes
Marking: There are no signs; for optimum preparation and planning of the hike, the tourist information centre at the Haus des Gastes offers a detailed hiking map which can also be purchased from the online shop on the website.
Directions: By bus (500) or by car Parking on the Festplatz not far from the tourist information centre, or behind the Spreewaldmühle (Hauptstrasse 31), at the end of the village in the direction of Lübben.
From Cottbus, you can also take bus 47 or 44.
