From Lennep to the Valley of Cloth

Cycle, stop, be amazed
A cycle tour with lots of stops lies ahead of you with exciting destinations along the way. These include two reservoirs and the textile town of Wülfing. To start with, the German Röntgen Museum is a tempting place for visitors to interact and try some experiments. An adventure for cyclists both young and old.
In the footsteps of the clothmakers
Start your tour in Remscheid-Lennep. From there, you cycle along minor roads with beautiful views. Follow the course of the Wupper through the “Valley of Cloth”. At the Wülfing Textile Museum, you can learn all about the textile industry in the Wupper valley on original sites.
Want to cool off a little? Rest stops by the water are available at the Wuppertal and Panzer reservoirs. You can swim in the Wuppertal reservoir in the designated areas during the summer.
Relaxed final push
Finally, a pleasant cycle along the old railway lines once again, on the Balkantrasse back to Lennep. The beautiful historic town centre with its idyllic Bergisch atmosphere awaits you here.
