L'església és més coneguda perquè l' 11 de novembre , a la commemoració de l'armistici, té lloc a l'església una benedicció dels animals amb motiu de la festa de la caça. Els bufadors de banya de caça acompanyen la benedicció.
Aquest edifici neoclàssic va ser construït l'any 1848 al lloc del Collège des Augustins. Criden l'atenció el bonic color dels maons de cara i l' interior senzill però lleuger.
A l'entrada es poden veure pintures que evoquen l' èpica de Godfrey van Bouillon .
Als laterals hi ha quadres sobre l'Evangeli i la vida de Jesús.
L'any 2017 es va col·locar una nova estàtua de Sant Eloi .
