Als peus de la rue du Broux, es pot veure una bomba d'aigua de ferro colat bellament decorada de finals del segle XIX , davant d'un abeurador de pedra blava i una petita massa d'aigua que servia d'abeurador per al bestiar.
Abans que es pogués beure el bestiar i els cavalls a l'estable o a la pastura , calia portar el ramat a un lloc per beure diverses vegades al dia . Aquesta va ser una feina dura i que va consumir temps.
Als pobles massa allunyats d'un riu o d'un estany, els animals havien d'apagar la set amb els abeuradors (que s'aprovisionaven de la font més propera).
