La font de l'aigua mineral és coneguda des de temps immemorials com la Font du Bois Notre-Dame o Source des Dames.
Alexandre Matton va organitzar l'explotació comercial de la font d'aigua mineral natural d'Arville, propietat del comte de Liedekerke des de 1911.
El 1920 es va crear un xarop de granadina, "Boum" . El 1926 es van crear " Arville grenadine " i " Arville lemon ". Al final de la Segona Guerra Mundial va ser adquirida per la cerveseria “Impérial”. "Arvilor" una taronjada , "Ma pomme" (en referència a la cançó de Maurice Chevalier), "Peppermint" completen l'oferta.
L' eslògan comercial era " Per mantenir-se jove i subtil, beu aigua d'Arville " (Po d'mêrer djonne è subtil, bêvoz d'êwe d'Arville).
L'empresa 'Arville Mineral Sources' va ser presa per un grup cerveser als anys 60 i, posteriorment, va perdre el seu tradicional producte local. L'any 1971 l'empresa 'Arville Mineral Sources' va tancar les seves portes
