L'antic casino de Chimay, que domina la plaça dels Ormeaux , va ser construït l'any 1843 al lloc d'un antic mercat.
Va ser construït en estil neoclàssic i de planta rectangular. Una de les façanes, a la dreta, està precedida d'un pòrtic alt i profund amb arcs de mig punt i clau sobresortint amb coronament daurat i una àmplia escala.
L' acollidora braseria té un disseny molt especial . Una antiga col·lecció de fotos explica històries sobre la vida dels habitants de Chimay i del casino. El gerent té a la carta plats regionals, com escabeche de Chimay, terrina de Chimay, truita de l'Abbé Gourmand o altres propostes diàries. Quan fa bon temps, és agradable relaxar-se a la terrassa.
