El Mercat d'hostafrancs ja a complert 100 anys, i 125 també! Fou construït l'any 1888, un dels elements que ens ho indiquen és la seva estructura de ferro amb tancament d'obra vista que s'hi pot observar. Aquest mercat cooincideix amb l’arquitectura més rica dels mercats municipals construïda a la darreria del segle XIX. Avui compta amb 73 parades al seu interior més altres serveis complementaris, i un mecat de moda i complements que l'envolta durant el cap de setmana.
