La Vall d'Aran o Aran, de vegades anomenada pel seu topònim oficial Val d'Aran o Vath d'Aran, en aranès, és una vall pirinenca i una comarca situada al sud-est de la regió històrica i cultural de Gascunya, a la també regió històrica, encara més gran, d'Occitània. Administrativament és una entitat territorial singular de Catalunya considerada com a realitat nacional occitana. Amb capital a Viella , té un govern autònom, el Consell General d'Aran, en virtut de la Llei 16/1990 sobre el règim especial de la Val d'Aran, actualitzada amb la nova Llei d'Aran del 21 de gener de 2015. Va ser una comarca fins al 2015, any a partir del qual es considera legalment una entitat territorial singular.
